Skin2Confidence Training Institute
Opens Its Foundation Certification
Skin2Confidence Training Institute will hold its Foundation Certification, a 3-day training program, from July 16 to 18, 2026, at Dermstead Wellness Center in BF International, Las Piñas City. Running daily from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, the program is presented in partnership with Prettyskin and Lamelin Philippines and Prettyskin and Lamelin Korea, with Zonta Club of Las Piñas serving as Batch 1 sponsor.
A Science-Led Approach to Beauty Education
The Foundation Certification was designed to equip aspiring beauty professionals with knowledge, practical skills, and values to thrive in the beauty industry and uplift their communities. The program is structured around three pillars: science knowledge, practical skills, and confidence and career, carried through the institute's tagline, "Building Confidence. Developing Skills. Empowering Futures."
Faculty Behind the Program
The Foundation Certification will be taught by a faculty of medical professionals and industry practitioners.
Dr. Finesse Angelica F. Evangelista, a board-certified dermatologist and key opinion leader with over 12 years of experience in clinical and aesthetic dermatology, will lead dermatology instruction.
Alongside her is Dr. Maragaille Capiroso, Medical Director of Dermstead Wellness Clinic and a former Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biology at UP Manila.
Dr. Beatrice C. Tejares, a Doctor of Pharmacy and Registered Pharmacist with clinical, hospital, community, and oncology training, will lead the pharmacy and ingredients component.
Ms. Aleli Talabis, a Learning and Development leader with more than 20 years of experience in training, coaching, and people development, will lead the professional communication and confidence-building sessions across both Day 1 and Day 2.
Korean beauty practices will be represented by Grace Lee, CEO of The Plan B Korean Aesthetics Clinic.
Makeup instruction will be led by Florence Vergara, CEO of FloVergara Make-up Studio, who brings over 12 years of experience in bridal, celebrity, editorial, and commercial makeup artistry.
Rounding out the makeup faculty is Rouchelle Battad, a professional makeup artist practicing since 2015 who trained under Thai makeup artists Ladcha Prampree and Kakanest Chanchariyakun.
Day 1: Building the Scientific and Professional Foundation
The first day will open with registration, a pre-test, and a welcome and program overview led by Dr. Jehan Gandamra. Inspirational messages will be delivered by Dr. Maria Charito Laarni S. Indonto, President of Zonta Club of Las Piñas, and Asuncion C. Aguilar, Barangay Captain of Brgy. BF International, CAA.
Participants will then move through Dermatology Fundamentals with an interactive exercise, led by Dr. Mara Capiroso and Dr. Fin Evangelista, followed by Pharmacy and Ingredients Intelligence with Dr. Bea Tejares. The afternoon will cover the Prettyskin Product Portfolio with a product matching exercise led by Karen Deloso, closing with the first part of Professional Communication and Confidence Building, led by Aleli Talabis. By the end of Day 1, participants are expected to understand skin science and common skin concerns, identify key skincare ingredients, and match ingredients to skin concerns while exploring the Prettyskin portfolio.
Day 2: Developing Practical Beauty Skills
Day 2 will focus on hands-on training. Grace Lee will lead a four-hour session on the Basics of Korean Skincare Routine, combining lecture, demonstration, and hands-on workshop components. Florence Vergara will follow with a three-hour Beginner Korean Makeup Workshop featuring lecture, demonstration, and guided practice. The day will close with the second part of Professional Communication, Career Pathways, and Beauty Ecosystem, again led by Aleli Talabis.
Day 3: Competency Assessment and Certification
The final day will center on assessment. Dr. Jehan Gandamra will orient participants to the Integrated Competency Assessment before leading the assessment itself, covering skin assessment, ingredient knowledge, product recommendation, consultation, and professional communication. Rouchelle Battad will then lead the Practical Makeup Skills Revalida. The program will conclude with assessment consolidation and participant reflection, an open forum and faculty feedback session, the awarding of certificates, and a closing program with photo session, alumni membership, and next steps.
