Pretty Skin & Lamelin Philippines Marks First Anniversary,
Renews Partnership with Katrina Santos
Pretty Skin & Lamelin Philippines is marking one year since it first launched in the country, a milestone the brand is celebrating alongside the renewal of its partnership with global ambassador Katrina Santos for a second year.
How It Began
Pretty Skin and Lamelin Korea arrived in the Philippines in 2025, bringing with them award-winning Korean skincare and a vision built around a broader idea: that beauty should be measured not only by flawless skin, but by the confidence it inspires, the lives it uplifts, and the communities it brings together.
Founders Catherine and Jun Gamo positioned the brand as more than a skincare line from the start, describing it as a bridge between Korea and the Philippines built where science meets compassion and education walks hand in hand with innovation.
A Journey With Its Share of Challenges
The brand has described its first year as one that came with unexpected turns, moments of uncertainty, and setbacks along the way. According to the brand, those moments became defining lessons, reinforcing the belief that a dream built on faith, sincerity, perseverance, and love for people turns obstacles into opportunities.
Along the way, the brand says it found genuine friendships and trusted partners among the doctors, pharmacists, aestheticians, entrepreneurs, students, and families who worked with it, growing into what it now calls one community.
The First Twelve Months
Over its first year, Pretty Skin & Lamelin Philippines marked several milestones: celebrating new partnerships, sharing product knowledge, and launching new innovations, while building what the brand describes as a growing sense of confidence and community among the people involved.

Reflecting on the year, the brand summed up its outlook in one line: skincare was never the destination, people were.

Heading Into Chapter Two
The brand described its first year as being less about building a brand and more about building a family, with everything else following from there. As it enters its second year, Pretty Skin & Lamelin Philippines dedicated the milestone to everyone who supported it through its first year in the country.
